I’m back from the Sewing & Stichery Expo in Puyallup, WA. We had a great time and the folks up there are just great! Got a chance to visit with lots of quilters and customers and I’m always so grateful for all your support. Quilter’s Night Out was a hoot. Steve Jeffries, President of Babylock introduced me to about 800 people. He got them chanting “Babylock – for the love!” It was something else. After the program Babylock gave away a Quilters Dream Espire to one very blessed lady who prayed to get it! Miracles happen!

Puyallup, WA! How fun was that. I used to live in WA, and always loved goingto the Expo at Puyallup. I still think of it every year, it was a great show. I am glad that you enjoyed the people and the show.
Hoppy quilting!

HI Eleanor,
I just discovered you had a blog. ….Cool. I am a fan from Tasmania, Australia. I was just discussing with a net friend in Canada about a Delectable Mountains quilt you made once and I was wondering if I could find a pic of it….found here. Love your enthusiasm and the way you teach. Happy to follow your blog.

Hi! Eleanor,
I have to let you know that you won an award on the SewCal Girl’s Blog. I voted for you and then I, too won a prize for voting. I haven’t discovered just what I won yet, it will be announced tomorrow. Here is the link to her blog so you can read about it.

Congratulations! You were picked for the category of Best Author. You may have to scan down the page a bit to find it. You are mentioned with quite a few talented quilters!

I just discovered your blog, also….thanks to Kelly Jackson at “I Have a Notion”. I was fortunate enough to attend your lecture at the recent Lancaster AQS show….the original one at 7 p.m. (the one in which you unwrapped your sandwich and ate it as you and Orion chatted with us between shows). I thoroughly enjoyed it and have recommended to everyone I know that they need to go SEE you if they ever have the chance at a quilt show!!! Now….we need some new blog postings…okay?? LOL
So glad to see you are now in the wonderful world of the bloggers. I have been here for two years now and I just love it. I never knew there were so many talented quilters who were sharing their expertise on blogs. I am a relatively new quilter, My Mother was the family quilter so I didn’t even think about making a quilt. When Mom passed she left me all her quilting things and a monster was born. I am so addicted to fabrics, threads, patterns and anything quilt. I make quilted lap robes for a nursing home and this lets me try all kinds of new block patterns plus I get to give a smile to some who are forgotten.
So happy to find your blog! I’ll definitely be checking in!
